We offer a variety of activities around London. Free for carers.

CARERS CREATIVE ARTS PROGRAMME
Creative Carers Collective Art Group, Craft Group and Drama Group.

LEGAL AND FINANCIAL TRAINING
A variety of financial and legal training workshops for all carers.

MINDFULNESS FOR CARERS
Fortnightly mindfulness and meditation group for all carers on a Thursday morning.

CAMDEN CARERS WALKS
For carers seeking exercise in the great outdoors, to enjoy Camden’s greenery & the company of fellow carers.

CARERS CREATIVE ARTS PROGRAMME

HEALTH & LIFESTYLE CONSULTATIONS
Giving carers a chance to talk with a member of the Health Team about their own health and have a basic health check.

CREATIVE CARERS COLLECTIVE
Creative Carers Collective creates, looks at and reflects on works of art. This group meets fortnightly in a space which is set up as a working studio. Always open to welcoming new members!

MAKING FRIENDS WITH ANXIETY
New monthly group meeting led by Sitara Necic – come along to explore ways to cope; and learn strategies around managing anxiety.

DEMENTIA CARERS TRAINING
A 5 session training course for Carers of someone living with Dementia. Learn more about Dementia and how to manage the caring role.

OLDER CARERS BELLY DANCING
Fortnightly session for all carers 60+ and dementia carers – a great, fun way to get together and do some exercise.

REMEMBERING YESTERDAY CARING TODAY
12-14 week reminiscence programme for people with dementia and their Carers, runs weekly on a Monday afternoon. Exploring memories of the different stages of life through music, singing, dance, drama and drawing.

DEMENTIA CARERS GROUP
Monthly group for Carers of someone with dementia. Meetings are a combination of support, information and an activity or invited speaker. Membership is open to any carer in Camden who supports someone with dementia.

CRAFTY CARERS
For people with dementia and their carers, as well as older carers. A great opportunity to get together to learn a new craft skill and take something interesting home.

GREAT CAMDEN MINDS
Involvement group for individuals living with dementia, who actively participate in providing information to professionals and the wider community in Camden. The overall aim is to ensure Camden is dementia-friendly. The group meets monthly. Open to anyone with dementia living in Camden.

GUIDED TOURS / WALKS
Now open to ALL carers; people with dementia and their carers; and older carers with the person they care for. Visit galleries, museums & places of interest in London. NOTE: Only older carers and dementia carers may bring cared-for, due to funding limitations.

Meets monthly at a variety of local places of interest – enquire for information.

DEMENTIA CARERS GROUP
Meets monthly for peer support, information sharing and regular guest speakers.

MENTAL HEALTH CARERS GROUP
Meets monthly for information, peer support and sharing, occasional activities and guest speakers.

LEARNING DISABILITY CARERS GROUP
Monthly coffee morning.

CAMDEN CARERS VOICE (CCV)

CAMDEN CARERS VOICE (CCV)

Camden Carers Voice (CCV) is the forum for all carers and former carers living in Camden, or caring for someone who does. We meet five times a year to campaign and lobby for carers’ rights. CCV is carer-led, drawing on everyone’s skills, talents and abilities.

Most events, outings, training and other activities are open to all carers who are registered with us, unless stated for a particular group by condition, or other criteria. Please check with Camden Carers Centre on 020 7428 8950 if in doubt about your eligibility for an event or activity.

Please remember it is essential to book on to events that you wish to attend; also you must let us know if you are unable to attend. All training, events & outings we offer have a cost implication and we want carers to get the best from our resources.
